Inventory Analyst

6 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT

Greater Glasgow Area (Hybrid)

Nine Twenty are delighted to be working with a hugely successful manufacturing company that are seeking an Inventory Analyst to join their Inventory planning team on a permanent basis. A fantastic opportunity for an analytical individual.

This position reports to the Inventory Manager. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Inventory Manager to ensure the efficient management of maturing inventory assets. This will involve overseeing providing insightful analysis of sales forecasts related to inventory, warehouse depletions, production.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct strategic scenario analyses for inventory. Manage the approval, distribution, and control of inventory. Offer inventory analysis for upcoming product developments. Progress the development of system–generated reports for monitoring operational activities. Perform medium and long–term scenario analyses for manufacturing. Collaborate with the Planning Team to create strategic operational plans.

Skills:

Relevant experience in manufacturing preferable. Proficiency with various software applications, including MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, Power Bi, SMP, E1, and OBI. Strong numerical skills and adept at problem–solving. Effective in meeting deadlines. Demonstrates the ability to maintain confidentiality. Can work both independently and as part of a team. Holds a valid driver's license. Possesses a graduate–level education. Communicates effectively with all levels within the organization.
