Interim Housing Manager Opportunity – London

We're seeking an experienced Housing Performance Manager to join a local authority in London on an interim contract, working in a hybrid capacity. This role offers an excellent hourly rate of 34.95 per hour (Umbrella) and provides the opportunity to make a real impact in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

– Lead and manage a team of Housing Patch Managers, ensuring high–quality, resident–focused tenancy management.

– Oversee tenancy agreements and ensure compliance with relevant housing legislation.

– Drive performance improvements and ensure KPIs are consistently met.

– Collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver a customer–centric housing service.

– Tackle complex housing issues, including ASB, rent arrears, and tenancy sustainment, with early intervention and effective case management.

– Ensure tenant satisfaction remains a key priority, promoting a solutions–focused culture.

Requirements:

– Strong knowledge of housing law and regulatory requirements.

– Proven experience in managing housing teams and complex casework.

– Excellent leadership and communication skills.

– Ability to work in a fast–paced environment, managing competing priorities.
