Personable Live-in Housekeeper/Nanny wanted in Notting Hill – Start ASAP

A client of ours is on the hunt for an assertive and child-friendly Housekeeper/Nanny to help out in her gorgeous home in Notting Hill.

On the housekeeping front, these tasks will be carried out for four hours in the morning. The duties and responsibilities will include vaccuming, dusting, mopping, sweeping, deep cleaning bedrooms and bathrooms, tidying, ironing and laundry.

The client is looking for an individual who is happy to oversee the children's homework in the evenings to make sure it is being done. G7 and B9 go to school at 8:30 am which is a 10-minute walk away from the property and the successful candidate will be asked to help in the morning to make breakfast and get them out the door.

The children are back around 4:30 pm and the housekeeper/nanny will then assist with homework, taking them to activities and reading bedtime stories. The client is a very hands-on mother so the responsibilities will be shared.

The housekeeper/nanny will be asked to make dinners each evening, but these will be basic meals such as Bolognese, shepherd’s pie, chicken dishes, pasta bakes etc.

The children live between mum and dad so some days will be longer hours than others. The Housekeeper/Nanny will have a large break in the middle of the day and the days the children aren’t staying in the evening, they will be able to finish work once the housekeeping is done in the morning.

The hours/days asked will be the following:

Monday, Tuesday and Thursday – 10 hours a day

Wednesday – 5 hours a day

Friday – 5 hours one week and the other 10 hours (this will rotate each week)

Weekend availability would be a bonus for the client when the children are in residence.

The client owns a Labrador, so an animal lover is a must. Finally, the ideal candidate will be friendly, proactive and happy to lend a hand to wherever needed.
