Part Time Permanent Housekeeper/Cook Based in Chelsea, London – Start ASAP A young family of four is on the hunt for an efficient part time permanent housekeeper/cook to join their busy household in Chelsea, London.

The candidate will be sharing the load of the cooking duties with the family’s full-time nanny. The client requires traditional family style meals such as shepherds pie, bolognese and lasagne. These meals can be prepared before hand and heated up when the family would like to eat.

Other duties include:

Cleaning the home to a high standard, including polishing, dusting, vacuuming, mopping and sweeping
Deep cleaning bathrooms
Doing the washing up
Running errands such as taking clothes to the dry cleaners and grocery shopping
Occasionally supervising the children
Liaising with the family PA and nanny

It is very important to the client that the Housekeeper understands how to look after expensive and delicate garments. The Housekeeper will carry out all laundry care, including washing, care of delicate garments (hand washing), ironing, taking garments to the dry cleaners, washing bed linen and making beds.

The days and hours offered are two days a week, Saturday and Sunday 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.

The ideal candidate will be highly focused with great initiative to ensure that the house is kept to a high standard.
