We are looking for: Experience Gypsum Cornice Maker/Casters for immediate start.

What is a gypsum cornice maker and caster.

A specialist Craftsman or Women in making plaster cornices and other ornamental plaster mouldings a traditional form of decorative gypsum, composed of plaster of Paris and reinforced with layers of burlap or sisal.

How much do plaster coving makers make a year in UK?

Fully qualified you could earn between approx. £40,000 and £55,000 per year.

Pending on your experience, you could earn more.

We are hiring all nationalities, and we do speak English, Italian, Greek and Spanish.

Skills and knowledge

Day-to-day tasks

You’ll normally do.

Create ornamental features like ceiling roses, cornices and architraves

You’ll need:

knowledge and appreciation in plaster mouldings

the ability to work well with your hands

the ability to work well with others

the ability to use your initiative

the ability to accept constructive feedback and work well under pressure

the ability to organise your time and workload

You will need to have a methodical approach to working, pay attention to detail and understand adhering to safety procedures, manufacturing instructions and warnings.
