Building Safety Manager required with NEBOSH qualification to property manage building safety across several sites in Essex and Kent. Working Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm (37.5 hours) on an annual salary between 40,000 – 48,000 depending on experience.

Main office base will be Romford in Essex, or Dartford in Kent.

Duties:

Lead building safety across sitesEnsure that planned and preventative maintenance is carried outEngage with internal staff and external contractors to ensure roles are performed in accordance with Fire RegulationsManage FRA – Fire Risk Assessments through to completionEnsure all contractors and staff work in accordance with rules and regulations Manage cleaning staff, and contract servicing; PAT testing, fire checksDeal with mould and damp complaintsBenefits:

NEBOSH certification is essentialFacilities management, Health and Safety, HSEQ experience is desirableFire Safety qualification is desirableExperience in managing fire safety and FRA – Fire Risk Assessments is desirablePrevious experience managing a small team is essentialAbility to organise a busy and varied workload, remain calm under pressure, and proactive in approach to tasksPC literate with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook skillsExcellent communication skills, verbal and writtenPlease bear in mind that you may not hear from us straight away.
