Key Responsibilities of the Head of Finance:

Develop and implement financial strategies that align with growth objectives, supporting long–term planning and resource allocationOversee accurate, timely financial reporting, delivering insights that influence strategic decisions and enhance performanceLead annual budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring effective variance analysis and predictive accuracyWork across departments to identify and implement strategies for operational improvement and increased profitabilityMaintain a keen focus on cash flow and working capital strategies, securing financial stability and liquidityEstablish robust risk management practices and ensure full compliance with financial regulations and internal controlsNurture a high–performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learningBuild productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing critical financial insights and support for negotiationsEvaluate current financial systems, implement new technologies, and streamline processes to boost efficiency

Head of Finance Candidate Profile

Expertise in financial principles, regulatory standards, and advanced financial modellingProven experience in leading and developing high–performing finance teamsCapable of anticipating financial trends and implementing proactive strategiesStrong presentation skills, adept at influencing and engaging stakeholdersIdeally experienced in recurring payments or similar sectors

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; Master's/MBA preferredFully qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA)10+ years' finance experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior finance leadership roleProficient in financial software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel
