About the Project:

We are undertaking a large house renovation project in Chelwood, Bristol, and are seeking a motivated and reliable General Labourer to assist in daily tasks and support the painting and decorating efforts. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in construction and renovation work.

Main Responsibilities:

Assist with general labour tasks as directed by the site manager and tradespeople.
Support the painting and decorating works with preparation, including sanding, filling, masking, and cleaning surfaces.
Carry materials and equipment around the site as required.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area.
Load and unload construction materials and tools.
Assist in preparing surfaces for painting and applying paint.
Perform any other tasks as required to support the smooth progress of the renovation.

Requirements:

Prior experience in general labour or construction work is preferred but not essential.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and working in different weather conditions.
Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
Basic knowledge of painting and decorating is an advantage but not required.
Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
Punctual and reliable.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Some flexibility may be required based on project needs).
