Our client is an established, friendly firm of Accountants who are looking for a new client Bookkeeper to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of duties including:

* Bookkeeping duties for a varied portfolio of clients

* Bank and credit card reconciliations

* Preparation of VAT returns

* Answering client queries regarding bookkeeping

* Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts

* Use of Xero software predominantly

* Opportunity to get involved in accounts preparation / more senior accounts duties if desired

You will need strong double-entry bookkeeping experience, and ideally be a confident Xero user, however training can be given on this. Previous experience working within a firm of Accountants or bookkeeping bureau would be highly beneficial, but not essential. The firm are open to considering both full or part-time candidates, and can consider circa 20 hours a week all the way up to full-time, hours can be spread however suits you
