The Role

Join a small, dynamic, and growing team of experienced professionals dedicated to revolutionising business development. As the (Founding) Senior Software Engineer

you will work closely with the co-founders to rapidly iterate on product ideas and help shape the technical vision from the ground up. This is a hands-on role that requires deep technical expertise, entrepreneurial drive, and the ability to turn ideas into scalable solutions.

You’ll have the opportunity to build the product from the earliest stages, solving real customer problems, and playing a key role in the company’s journey towards achieving its business milestones.

Key Responsibilities but not limited to:

Partner with the co-founders to prototype, iterate, and deliver a product that meets market needs.
Design and build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems.
Set up the initial infrastructure and drive technology decisions for the MVP and beyond.
Collaborate with business teams to ensure the technology roadmap aligns with business goals.
Take ownership of the full development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment and post-launch iteration.
Establish best practices in coding, architecture, and development processes.
Lay the foundation for future technology hires as the team grows.

Key Skills:

Minimum 5 years of hands-on professional experience in backend development.
Experience programming with at least 2 software languages (e.g., Python, Node.js, Java).
Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and building scalable infrastructure.
Experience with rapid prototyping and iterating on early-stage products.
Solid understanding of security best practices and compliance standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001).
Demonstrable interest or experience in AI/ML technologies and how they can solve business challenges
Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment with a focus on problem-solving.
Experience in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies.
Bonus: Experience with M&A ecosystems or finance-related platforms, but not essential.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building and iterating on new products.
