FLT Driver – Forklift Positions

Job&Talent are recruiting for experienced FLT (Man–up, Reach and VNA) operators in Millbrook, Southampton, we are looking for hard working and experienced FLT Operators to join our team, our client is ramping up for some new business opportunities and are looking for core team members to join the operation.

As a FLT Driver you will need to have:

Previous FLT experience is required, licence/certificate is not mandatory, please be familiar with the type of FLT previously operated ( VNA, Reach , Man–up)Ability to work in a rapidly changing, fast past paced environmentAbility to work both individually and as part of a team in a physically demanding environmentA 'can do', right first time and passionate approachFlexibility to work a rotating shift patternSafety Shoes

Salary :

Pay rate starts at 13.10 basic rate per hourOur client offers day 1 training suitable for all candidates and will conduct a Forklift drivers' assessment prior day 1 to assess experienceWe are currently looking for Full time positions, on the 2–week rotating shifts.Location: Millbrook, SouthamptonHours of work: Rotating shifts Monday–Friday (Apply online only), (Apply online only) shifts rotate every 2 weeks. Role of a FLT Operative:

Safely operate a range of FLT vehicles to demands of the business in a busy industrial environmentAccurately receive, pick, assemble and load customer orders within depot accuracy and speed targets,Contribute towards a clean and safe working environment, demonstrating concern to ensure that personal actions do not compromise the health and safety of self and/or colleagues at all timesHandle customer stock with care and consideration to minimise damages and maximise customer serviceAdhere to instructions and guidelines regarding manual handling, the use of Mechanical Handling equipment, including pre–operational checks, reporting of defects, and the safe use and operation of all equipment.Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles, stacking stock onto and off pallets in a safe and stable manner ready for transit.Full Training will be provided.
