Summary

SPS Technologies are working in partnership as they look to increase their team. Due to retirement of long-standing employees and a large aerospace contract, they need additional forging operatives to join the team on a permanent basis.

The Job

Operating various engineering machines - forging machines

Using various measuring gauges - verniers, shadow graphs etc

Reading and working from engineering drawings.

Working to customer specifications

General Housekeeping duties

The Candidate

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment

Able to work in imperial measurements

Able to quality check using a variety of tools

Must be clearly conversant in English

Physically fit as there is a lot of manual work

Must be organised and able to work to a process and ensure stock is moved correctly in specific batches
