As the Financial Controller, you will oversee the whole finance department and report directly to the Managing Director. You will be responsible for timely and correct management accounting across multiple sites, including integrating newly acquired businesses and advancements into the trading organization. The Financial Controller will collaborate with each site to guarantee accurate reporting.

Location - Newport Salary - 45,000 - 50,000 per annum depending on experience. Pension Scheme Annual service & Birthday recognition Free on-site parking Social events throughout the year

You will have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail with a good understanding of financial operating systems.

Duties will include:

Full production of monthly management accounts including analysis and commentaryPrepare company budgets, forecasts and cash flowReconcile balance sheetControl of fixed asset registerResponsible for payroll and pensionsOversee Purchase & Sales LedgerCredit control & debt managementComplete all HMRC returns including VAT and other statutory returnsLeadership and management of two team membersRequirements

Fully qualified accountant with at least 3 years' experience. Preferred: ACCA, AAT (level 4), CIMA, ICAEWSolid technical backgroundExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSolid organisational skillsAble to use standard Microsoft office packages: Word, Excel.A hands-on, can-do attitude with initiative to work well individually and in a team Preferred experience, but not essential
