Interim Finance Business Partner 6 month Circa GBP450 per day (inside IR35 Remote (must be Northwest based)

Morson is partnering with a Transport & Logistics business looking for an experienced Interim Finance Business Partner to ensure accurate and timely reporting of the business functional costs. The role involves detailed analysis of variances, full-year cost forecasting, and financial control over intercompany recharges.

As a key member of the finance team, you ll report to the CFO and liaise with Functional Leaders and budget owners to provide insight and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Key Responsibilities of the Interim Finance Business Partner:

• Analyse NTS functional costs and explain key variances.

• Liaise with executives and functional leaders to understand cost drivers.

• Produce detailed reports offering insights for budget owners.

• Maintain a phased full-year forecast.

• Oversee intercompany charges between INS and DRS.

• Allocate functional costs to business lines and ensure consistency between HR and Finance regarding People costs.

Requirements:

• A recognised professional accountancy qualification (CIMA, ICAEW, or similar).

• Significant experience in financial reporting and a proven record of continuous improvement.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel experience with PowerBI, VENA, and SAGE X3 is preferred.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.

• Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and commitment to deadlines.

• Integrity and a proactive, forward-thinking approach.

Location: Lancashire / Merseyside / Northwest

Pay rate: cGBP450 per day inside IR35

Security Clearance: BPSS Clearance Required
