About the role:

Astute's Renewables team is partnering with one of the most reputable sustainable energy companies in the UK and a pioneer in the sector. The company develop, construct own and operate their own renewable energy assets and we are looking for a Field Service Engineer to attend their sites in and around the north of the M25 and Milton Keynes area which will be a mixture of EV chargers, large scale solar and battery storage assets.

The Field Service Engineer role comes with a salary of 41,000, excellent development and progression opportunities, an electric vehicle with charge points on site and company benefits.

Responsibilities and duties:

Reporting to the Field Service Manager you will:Undertaking planned inspection and maintenance according to legal, technical, manufacturer and contractual requirementsPerforming reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis and resolution in a timely mannerCarrying out site surveys as requiredCompiling accurate and appropriate documentation for both internal and external stakeholders in a precise and timely mannerKeeping accurate and detailed records of electrical testing, and safety documents that are suitable for auditEnsuring that work output meets technical quality, reliability, cost, and productivityComplying with the company Health & Safety Policy, including carrying out general housekeepingComplying with all aspects of the company's ISO standards: Quality management - ISO 9001 / Environmental - ISO 14001 proactively contributing to the company's continuous improvement programmeParticipating in an on-call rota

Professional qualifications:

We are looking for someone with the following:NVQ Level 3 electrical qualifications or equivalent17th/18th (preferably) edition wiring regulationsIdeally at least a year's experience in electrical/O&M workEV charge point commissioning and O&M experience would be advantageous3 Phase experience is ideal
