Estimator required. Our client is a well–established manufacturer of sheet metal products based in the Thetford area. Due to continued success and growth of the business they are seeking an Estimator with exposure to a manufacturing environment, to join the team.

The successful candidate will be assisting the implementation of an MRP system, whilst collating information to produce a standardised quotation system.

Estimator – Manufacturing Position Overview

Gathering information on production times, material costs and resource requirements to produce a standardised pricing structure with the use of an MRP systemProviding quotes to customers from off–plan drawings / specificationsManaging customer orders and updating the system with order requirementsAssisting the development of the accounts system

Estimator – Manufacturing Position Requirements

Previous experience within a manufacturing environment2+ years of experience within an estimating related roleBased in a commutable distance of ThetfordPrevious experience with an MRP systemGood commercial acumenProficient with MS Office suite

Estimator – Manufacturing Position Remuneration
