Our client, a leading entity in the defence and security sector, is currently seeking an ETF Technician to join their team in Bishopton. This is a contract role for a duration of 12 months, ideally suited for individuals with a background in technical operations within the defence and security landscape. As an ETF Technician, you will be instrumental in conducting test and evaluation trials, ensuring compliance and safety throughout each process. This role is full-time and onsite with no hybrid arrangements. Key Responsibilities: Functioning within a team to conduct test and evaluation trialsInterfacing with both internal and external customersEnsuring compliance with pre-trials risk assessments for safe trial conductionAdhering to SHE legislation requirementsFollowing and complying with the quality management systemRecording test data and adhering to relevant test plansAssisting with continuous improvement and performance measurement activitiesMaintaining technical competencyHelping to deliver trials within set timescales and budget constraints Job Requirements: Experience in a technical role, preferably within the defence and security sectorUnderstanding of test and evaluation trial processesCompliance with safety and SHE legislation standardsProficiency in maintaining and adhering to quality management systemsStrong data recording and analytical skillsAbility to work collaboratively within a team and with external stakeholdersCommitment to continuous improvement and performance measuresSecurity clearance (BPSS + SC in flight & ITAR) If you are an experienced technician ready to contribute to a critical defence and security project on a contract basis, we would love to hear from you.
