Job Title: Electronic Technician

Location: Newcastle

Salary: GBP25,000 to GBP30,000

Verso Recruitment is looking for a highly skilled Electronic Technician to join a renowned technology company in Newcastle. This role offers the chance to work on a diverse range of cutting–edge products, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards.

As an Electronic Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting and servicing products that have been used in real–world applications. This includes conducting in–depth fault–finding to component level, performing repairs and calibration of equipment and completing relevant documentation.

Key Responsibilities for the Electronic Technician:

– Diagnose and troubleshoot faults down to component level on various electronic products.

– Repair, rework and solder components with precision and accuracy.

– Calibrate and test equipment to ensure it meets technical specifications.

– Maintain clear, detailed documentation of all repairs, calibrations, and diagnostics.

– Interpret and work from technical drawings and circuit diagrams to identify issues and solutions

Required Experience and Skills for the Electronic Technician:

– Demonstrated expertise in fault–finding to component level

– Hands–on experience with rework and precision soldering.

– Strong ability to read and understand technical drawings and circuit diagrams.

– Excellent reporting skills, with the ability to document repairs and findings effectively.
