Key Responsibilities:

Fabricating, assembling, and installing parts of a ship as per trade requirementsInstalling all types of cables (multi-core, single core, co-axial, and fibre optic) and electrical systems (junction boxes, fuse panels, consoles, transformers, switches, etc.)Cable reeving, cable banding, and cable terminations, and aligning and installing all electrical equipmentUsing a range of hand and mechanical tools and equipment to complete fabrication activitiesComplying with SHE regulations at all timesMaintaining positive working relationships with team membersEngaging with management to improve work productivityEnsuring compliance with all new and current work methods to produce the best quality product while reducing time and waste

Job Requirements:

Experience in electrical installation within the maritime or defence sectorUnderstanding of installing different types of cables and electrical systemsProficient in using various hand and mechanical tools for fabricationStrong knowledge of SHE regulations and commitment to maintaining safety standardsExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work as part of a teamEffective communication skills to maintain productive relationships with team mates and management
