Electrical Maintenance Technician

Permanent

Salary Range: Up to 45,140 including shift allowance

Location: Skelmersdale

I am working with one of the world's largest and most well known & respected manufacturing companies with a fantastic reputation globally for innovation and quality. They have an exciting opportunity to join their team in Skelmersdale as Maintenance Technician on a full time, permanent basis

Responsibilities

Tracking and reporting of process improvement resultsImproving the overall reliability and performance of plant, personnel and production equipment and processesEnsuring production targets are met, optimising output & minimising defectsProviding production line support in line with company goals and objectivesPreventive maintenanceEquipment breakdown repairsEstablishing process conditionsIn–line quality checksProcess monitoring and controlling according to Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodAnalysing data to fault find and developing prioritised improvement plans for the platformMaintaining and developing the delivery of finished products in line with cost, quality and production schedule requirementsPrioritizing and promoting Health and Safety awarenessTraining and mentoring staff in an approachable and constructive mannerFostering and developing excellent relationships with key business stakeholdersGathering & sharing best practice, both within the business and world class manufacturing sites

Experience Required

First accomplished technical production support experience.Electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, servo controls PLC fault finding (Omron preferred)Experience of robotics (ABB preferred), including experience of automated assembly production linesExperience of vision systemsAbility to read electrical/mechanical drawingsAbility to follow SOP's and training processesAbility and willingness to work a night shift if required
