Role Overview

This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join us as a Director of Business Development. The role offers significant long–term rewards, including profit share and equity, alongside an initial commission–based structure.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and secure new business opportunities within the Engineering, Manufacturing, Technical, and Commercial sectors. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates. Drive revenue growth through strategic business development and client acquisition. Actively participate in filling roles and ensuring client satisfaction. Build and lead a high–performing recruitment team as the business grows. Provide strategic input and leadership to support the company s growth objectives.

Compensation Package

Year 1:

Commission: Generous commission on all new business and successful placements. Profit Share: End–of–year profit share based on the company's net profits. Year 2:

Commission: Adjusted commission rate to support reinvestment in the business and team development. Salary: A competitive base salary introduced after the first 12 months. Equity: Equity stake in the company at the end of the second year, contingent on achieving agreed performance milestones.

Ideal Candidate

Proven track record in business development, ideally within the recruitment industry. Experience in the Engineering, Manufacturing, Technical, and Commercial sectors is highly desirable but other sectors will be considered. Demonstrated success in building and leading high–performing recruitment teams. Strong network and ability to build lasting relationships with clients and candidates. Self–motivated, results–driven, and able to work independently. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strategic thinker with the ability to contribute to the company s long–term growth.
