WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?

Driver - £11.93 per hour

Labourer - £11.70 per hour

Full time work up to 50 hours per week

This is a temporary position to support a re-fit project in Newcastle city centre

THE COMPANY

Westray Recruitment Consultants are currently working with a well-known furniture retailer who are looking to recruit a driver and a labourer to support them with a re-fit project.

THE ROLE

You will be driving a 3.5 tonne company vehicle delivering and moving goods

You will be carrying out labour duties working in a department store in Newcastle city centre

Manual lifting of objects in the warehouse

Transporting goods from the warehouse to the shop floor

You will dismantle the current concession (taking down boards, putting items into a skip)

You will carry out general labouring duties and housekeeping (tidying up)

THE CANDIDATE

You will need a UK driving licence for this role

You will have no more than 6 points on your driving licence

You won’t be using hand tools (possibly screwdrivers) but mainly dismantling by hand

Successful candidates will show a good working attitude and be willing to work long shifts
