Our client in Rotherham is seeking a highly experienced Control Systems Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy machinery and heavy steel structures, with specific experience in Siemens and ABB systems. Experience in Special Purpose Machinery for industries such as nuclear, bridges, mining, or flood controls is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement control systems for heavy machinery and steel structures.

Work with Siemens and ABB systems to create efficient and reliable control solutions.

Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure systems meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for control system issues.

Participate in the commissioning and testing of control systems.

Maintain accurate documentation and project records.Requirements:

Proven experience as a Control Systems Engineer.

Strong background in heavy machinery and heavy steel structures.

Proficiency with Siemens and ABB control systems.

Experience with Special Purpose Machinery in nuclear, bridges, mining, or flood controls.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
