Double day shift - AM & PM shift rotation

Summary

SPS Technologies are working in partnership as they look to increase their team. Due to retirement of long-standing employees and a large aerospace contract, they need additional CNC machinists to join the team on a permanent basis.

The Job

Running CNC turning machines in accordance with standard operating procedures

Inspect parts with precision measuring tools (i.e., Calliper, micrometre etc) at pre-determined frequency

Working to tight tolerances

Reading and understanding engineering drawings.

Follow and maintain established safety rules and regulations including mandatory wearing of PPE

The Ideal Candidate

Previous CNC operating experience as a minimum

Experience in a manufacturing, mechanical or production environment.

Able to work with measuring equipment & imperial measurements.

Genuine interest the aerospace industry

Punctual, motivated and enthusiastic
