Tube bending with conventional & CNC machines from workshop south of Salisbury for family run business with more than 50 years of experience within tube fabrication, bending & finishing. They are a trusted supplier of quality products for hi-tech industries including automotive, aerospace & medical customers.

You will like

The CNC Operator, (Tube Bender/Engineering Operative), job itself where you will specialise in tube manipulation and bending. More specifically:

Manufacturing of tubular frames using a CNC machine.

Read and interpret technical drawings and work orders to determine production specifications and requirements.

Measure and mark tubing for cutting and bending, ensuring precision in dimensions.

Monitor Machine operations to maintain consistent quality and troubleshoot any issues that arise.

Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised workspace.

Plus, other duties that would include the operation of sawing, deburring and milling machines.

Work schedule: 38 hours per week over 4 days, Monday – Thursday from 07:15 am – 17:50 pm with a 30-minute lunch break.

​You will have

To be successful as CNC Operator, (Tube Bender/Engineering Operative), you will have machine shop experience and a healthy mix of the following:

Machine shop experience.

Able to work to Technical Drawings and specifications.

Experience of operating CNC machines

Able to inspect work to quality standards.

Good standard of education GCSE’s A-C (or equivalent).

Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship (or equivalent).
