A rare opportunity has arisen within a long established manufacturing company in the Medway Towns for a CNC Operative to work nights in their machine shop on a permanent basis. Ideally you will have a minimum of 2 years experience gained within the last 5 years.

The position involves:

Processing mouldings within the machining department encompassing CNC turning, CNC milling, manual turning, manual milling and drilling.Processing of parts in accordance with the relevant drawings, techniques and instructions.You may also be required to undertake the following tasks on occasion:

Inspection of machine parts.First off checks of other operators work.Duties may vary and can include other roles when required.Working Hours:

This is a 46 hour per week role, Monday–Thursday 18.00–06.00, paying 14.34 per hour, however training will initially be on days Monday–Thursday 06.00–16.30, Friday 06.00–14.30, 48 hours per week paying 12.47 per hour.

The ideal candidate will have previous manufacturing and CNC experience, must work well under pressure and to deadlines, have excellent time keeping skills, a positive can–do attitude and great literacy and numeracy skills. Ideal candidate must also be able to work using their own initiative and prioritise tasks whilst being able to problem solve.
