NexGen Consultancy are currently recruiting for a CNC 5 Axis Miller to join a well established CNC manufacturer.

Our reputable client is a family-owned precision engineering company based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. The company was established in 1967 and has a reputation for providing high-quality machined components for a wide range of industries, including Aerospace & Defence, Medical, Electronic, Analytical, Scientific and Motor Industries to name a few. CNF operates a policy of continual reinvestment in the latest machining technologies and offers its customers strict quality control systems to provide total quality assurance. We have an ultra modern, clean workshop with multiple machining centres most being multi pallet too. We also have a dedicated temperature controlled inspection with multiple CMMs and dedicated staff.

Role Description:

This is a full-time day shift role for a CNC Miller Setter Operator (5-axis). The day-to-day tasks include machine operation, quality control, and programming. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating modern Matsuura multi pallet 5-Axis CNC Milling Machines, and ensuring that components are machined to the highest possible standards and tolerances, in line with customer expectations and quality management systems.

Required Experience:

Expertise in 5-Axis Milling Experience in quality control Knowledge of Fanuc controls OpenMind Hypermill CAD/CAM would be an advantage but training would be given Ability to interpret engineering drawings and understand geometric tolerances Capable of performing routine maintenance checks on equipment Understanding of ISO9001 and Aerospace standard AS9100 quality management systems 3+ years of relevant experience in a precision engineering environment Experience with Fanuc Controls is desired. Experience working with materials such as aluminium, stainless steel, and some nickel allows is also beneficial.
