MULTI AXIS ESSENTIAL

Principal Accountabilities:

Manufacture of precision components to supplied CAD and drawingsOperating and setting multi–axis CNC machines with a range of controllersConfidently program parts online, fully or partially Responsible for setting and operating more than one machine during our peak build seasonMaintain program and tooling records for all components producedFeedback to Production Engineering to improve programs and machining methodsManage workflow on your machine to maximise output without compromising qualityResponsible for basic inspection of parts to ensure the ongoing quality of batchesMaintain a shift handover record with other shift–based employees in the machine shopTo be aware of health and safety legislation and contribute positively to safety standards on the shop floor
