CNC Machinist

Perm Role, GBP32k-GBP36k pa DOE Initially, Days, 37hrs per week, Mon-Thurs, Overtime

Working on behalf of my client, Interaction Recruitment are recruiting an experienced CNC Machinist/Programmer to work for a Precision Engineering firm based in Wetherby.

The business is commutable from York, Leeds or Harrogate and this is a great opportunity to join a dedicated team who take pride in their work.

Required Experience:

Experienced tool room operative within the engineering sector

Excellent CNC Milling skills

Capable of reading complex engineering drawings

Ideally have 5 years experience CNC programming, setting and operation

Good working knowledge of FANUC controls and programming

Strong understanding of providing accuracy and quality

Must have attention to detail, flexibility and have a team player mentality

Other desired skills required include:

A good understanding of CAD/CAM (Autodesk) ideally Fusion 360

Familiar with Heidenhain controls and programming

Experience in engineering a wide range of specialist materials including Heavy Flame cut Structural Steels, High tensile steel, Aluminium, Brass, Bronze and Acetal

Experience of working to ISO9001:2015

C/B FLT License would be beneficial

The core working hours for this role are 37hrs per week, 7.30am-5.15pm from Monday to Thursday. Overtime is always available and is paid at Time + 1/3 on weekdays and Time + on Saturdays. The starting salary for the role is between GBP32k and GBP36k Depending on Experience. This role is advertised as Permanent.
