LV Logistics currently has an opportunity for a Class 2 Driver to join our dynamic team based in Middlesbrough. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis (guaranteed 50 hours per week) and in return you will recieve a competitive hourly rate of £12.44 per hour.

LV Logistics is a well-established, successful and growing provider of logistics services including freight forwarding, warehousing, transport and customs clearance management.

About the Class 2 Driver Role:

Workload is generally Monday to Friday with weekend work sporadic and optional. As our Class 2 Driver you will carry out collections and deliveries around the UK in one of our 26tonne rigids curtainsider vehicles. You will also follow specific job instructions and complete all the relevant paperwork. One of your main responsibilities will be to conduct vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness - ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, and current Vehicle and Tachograph legislation.

What we’re looking for in our Class 2 Driver:

HGV Class 2 Licence

Full drivers CPC.

Previous experience not necessarily what we are looking for, we want the right person to join the team.

Must be willing to ‘tramp’

To be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Ambitious, organised and driven.

The ability to build relationships with customers.

Workload is generally Monday to Friday with weekend work sporadic and optional.

ADR licence would be ideal too, but if not we are happy to put you through the training

Taillift experience would be ideal too, but if not we are happy to put you through the training
