Your job role as a Children s Support Worker will involve you working closely with children in care and putting them at the centre of everything you do. Your day to day role will require you to support them in all aspects of their lives such as educational pursuits, hobbies and activities

Your experience and support will be influential in developing and contributing towards positive outcomes to help shape the future of children and young people.

You should be highly motivated, committed and have a genuine interest in delivering the highest quality of care for children and young people. With Nurseplus you will work across a variety of settings including Mental Health, Autism, Challenging behaviour, Education and Residential.

To support, safeguard and promote the wellbeing of children and young peopleAssist with daily routines which may include working in the community and/or educational settingOrganising and facilitating social activitiesTransportationWork alongside a multi-disciplinary team to implement safe practiceOffer high levels of supervision and supportWorking in line with Ofsted and CQC regulationsManage complex behaviours and crisis interventionContributing to the young person s care plans and risk assessments, their review and implementation What Nurseplus needs from you as a Children s Support Worker:

Previous experience working within a child and/or young adults settingA level 2 or 3 qualification in Child & Young Peoples Workforce (CYP) is desirable.All candidates must be over the age of 21 to meet industry regulationsKnowledge in one of the following areas EBD, SEMH, CSE or SEN/SENDAn enhanced DBS, which you can apply for upon registration (Cost of which GBP45.40. This will be refunded after a set period of work)A Full UK Driving License is desirable
