SF Executive have been retained by a mid market private equity house to find a Chief Financial Officer for their GBP4m EBITDA portfolio business.

Based in the East Midlands and growing, the business provides services, infrastructure and software to a raft of clients in a very niche part of the market.

As right hand to the CEO you will be responsible for designing and executing the strategy for growth which is partly an organic play but also with the opportunity for well thought through acquisitions.

You will also lead on all financial, management and statutory reporting ensuring a best in class, value added service is provided to the company and external stakeholders.

There will also be the opportunity to lead a sale of the business in the fullness of time.

We are either seeking a proven PE CFO or upwardly mobile FD that has at ideally already worked within a standalone / SME services / software business - experience of a business exit would be great but not a necessity - could be the case that you've been through an exit as No 2 and now looking for that elusive No 1 role .

A strong package plus six figure exit bonus will exist for the appointed candidate.

You will either live near to or be prepared to spend time at the companies offices in Leicestershire and therefore we are only looking at candidates within a reasonable commute of this area - regrettably we will not look at candidates travelling excessively, staying away from home during the week or looking to relocate.
