Portland Estates Management is a commercial property management business, which manages over 500 commercial properties predominantly across the North East of England but also nationally. Managing property across a number of sectors, including, retail, industrial, trade, mixed use and office. There are currently two offices, you ll be based at the head office in Stockton–on–Tees, but may from time to time be asked to attend the Gateshead office. Portland is looking for someone based in the Teesside/Co Durham region to join the team of chartered commercial surveyors. The work is varied, and, depending on the candidate s skill set, would include, dilapidations, schedules of condition, PPM surveys and contract admin. Within the group there is a fantastic multi–disciplined team of surveyors, this is a role with an immediate career path. The successful applicant will benefit from the diverse range of expertise within the team, working closely with colleagues to deliver high–quality survey services. Each position is tailored towards the candidate and their strengths and preferences. We are looking for a commercial building surveyor looking to work within a dynamic and growing company. You need to be chartered with the RICS or CIOB and be committed to delivering work at the highest standards. The focus is on providing an exceptional service to clients from all sectors, whether they are a small firm or international company. The role will involve working alongside other chartered building surveyors within the group. You need to have strong attention to detail and be confident in carrying out high–quality commercial survey work independently. We offer flexible and generous packages to suit you.
