A young Spinal cord injury lady looking for a young, energetic and active female care provider for live in position. Living with my 15year old son.

Own self accommodation away from the main house provided with full facilities.

Purpose of role

To support with all aspects of day to day living. Compassion, active, good communication skills, motivated and a calm and caring manner are essential for this important role.

Key responsibility

Safely provide compassionate care and support that is centred around the clients need and wishes whilst respecting her choices and my dignity at all times.

Care and support

• All aspects of personal care including showering and bathing, Dressing and grooming, Toileting and continence care, Teeth and dentures

• Taking medicine by Encouraging, reminding; assisting and giving medicines. Ordering and collecting prescription, Returning unwanted medicines to the pharmacy for safe disposal

• Eating and drinking by Helping to plan what to eat and drink, Gentle encouragement and help to eat and drink well, Shopping, preparing and serving food and drinks, Clearing the table, washing up and keeping the kitchen area clean and tidy

• Housework including Washing floors, vacuuming and sweeping, Laundry and ironing, making beds and changing the linen and general tidying

• physical activities including physiotherapy, exercises and use of rehabilitation equipment.

Recording and reporting accurately.

• Record and report all relevant information including, The care and support that you provide and assistance with medicines.

• Changes to condition or other concerns.

• Faulty equipment or hazards in the home, Response to emergencies, accidents and incidents, Safeguarding matters.

• Contact with families or carers and other professionals and matters as required.

• A driver with valid licence and willing to drive is a bonus, good team member and committed individual needed.

Female Carers required on a 4 weeks on 1 week off but can also be discussed basis.

Pay - TBD

Benefits - breaks, holiday pay, pension and training given if required.

Requirement- DBS, experience in care (training will be given) Driver, non smoker and English speaking. PAYE and self employed welcome. Immediate start.
