Building Manager
We are thrilled to partner with our client to recruit a Building Manager for one of Birmingham s most prominent commercial locations. The successful candidate will oversee a 200,000 sq. ft. multi–tenanted commercial office building, leading an on–site team responsible for facilities management, building management and customer service.
The Building Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth running of the building, delivering excellent customer service to tenants, managing day–to–day facilities operations, and maintaining compliance with all commercial building regulations.
Key Responsibilities of the Building Manager
Ensuring that the building is maintained to the highest standards, including health and safety compliance and building regulations. Tenant Relations: Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with tenants, ensuring their needs are met and that the building operates smoothly for all occupants. Customer Service Excellence: Go the extra mile to deliver outstanding customer service for tenants and visitors, including managing a programme of tenant events. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a small on–site team, promoting effective teamwork and high performance across facilities and customer service staff. Budget Management: Take ownership of the building s financial operations, ensuring budgets are managed effectively and cost–efficiency is maintained. We are recruiting for a highly competent, customer–focused professional with proven experience in building management or a related field such as facilities management, centre management, or hospitality.

Commercial Building Management Experience: Comprehensive knowledge of managing multi–tenanted commercial properties, ensuring full compliance with building regulations. Customer Service Expertise: A track record of delivering exceptional customer service, with the ability to meet diverse tenant needs. Financial Acumen: Experience in managing budgets and ensuring financial responsibility. Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and motivational skills to lead an on–site team and maintain high operational standards. Communication & Relationship Building: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop lasting relationships with tenants and service providers. What s On Offer?
