Bookkeeper

I am currently recruiting on behalf of my prestigious client, based in St Albans, for an experienced Bookkeeper to join on a full-time, permanent basis.

Joining this established firm, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial transactions and records of clients.

The client are offering hybrid working and a competitive salary.

Previous Bookkeeping experience is essential with candidates needing proven knowledge using Xero, QuickBooks or Sage.

About the role:

Manage client VAT returns Maintain accurate financial records Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for multiple clients for management review Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards Hours and Pay:

Monday to Friday Hybrid working opportunities after successful probationary period Salary up to 35,000 - dependent on experience Permanent About you:

Proven Bookkeeping experience within an accounting practice environment Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage Accounts payable knowledge Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Ability to meet deadlines and targets Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
