Job Role: Bandsaw Operator/Machine Operator

Location: Horsham

Contract Type: Full time / Permanent

Working Days / Hours: Monday - Friday 07:00 - 16:00

Annual Salary: £26,500-£27000

My client is a well established precision engineering firm with workshop locations across the UK.

At their Horsham location, they are actively recruiting for a Bandsaw Operator with FLT experience.

Bandsaw Operator duties:

* Cutting Aluminium and steel bar to various lengths.

* Operating high speed Bandsaws (Training will be given)

* Picking material from stock location using FLT.

* Processing job and completing paperwork

* Packaging completed order (Pack on Pallet and shrink wrap)

* Must have some experience and need FLT experience to load metal onto saw.

* Salary £26 500 to £27 000 pa

* Monday to Friday 7.00 am to 4.00 pm 1-hour lunch.

* 4 weeks Holiday plus Statutory.

* Company Pension scheme.

* Immediate start.

The successful Bandsaw Operator will have a minimum of three years experience in a similar role and be open to learning new skills and how to operate other precision engineering machinery.
