Automation Engineer

Wigan Warrington Manchester Liverpool / UK Wide

Initial 3-month contract (likelihood of extension)

Rates: £30.00p/h - £32.50p/h (Outside IR35)

Electrical / Control Panels / Automation / Installation / Food / Beverage

I am working with a key client based in the Northwest who are looking for an Automation Engineer to join their business on a contract basis. My client are leaders in the build and instal of mechanical equipment within the FMCG industries. This contract is an initial 3 months however there is a strong likelihood of extension.

As a skilled Automation Engineer, you will require to conduct the following duties:

Working UK wide as an Automation Engineer within Food & Beverage industries

Test and troubleshooting after installation is complete

Assist with any wiring and installation where necessary

Work closely with electrical team to ensure the product is to customer satisfaction

Work autonomously and independently as well as in a team

The successful Automation Engineer will need to have the following attributes:

Strong understand of PLCs with hands on experience

Understand how to build large complex panels

Strong background in wiring & automation within manufacturing

Happy to work away anywhere in the UK & Ireland

Experience within engineering in FMCG or related industries

Strong communication skills, working closely with electrical engineers

10 hour days (up to 70 hours p/w)
