I am seeking a dynamic Audit and Accounts Manager to join an established accountancy practice based in Exeter.

Do you hold an ACA ACCA qualification that is able to manage a team?

The organisation has a client base that ranges from start-ups to significant charities and NFP organisations. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the delivery of audits and accounts and assisting the senior management and directors.

Job Title: Audit & Accounts Manager

Location: Exeter

Contract: Permanent

Salary: 44,000.00 - 48,000.00

Your responsibilities on a day-to-day basis will include:

50% Audit 50% Accounts (including Charity NFP sector) Management and delivery of audit/accounts assignments Oversee workflow and management of a small team Review Audit files ahead of director review Review and prepare draft corporation tax and business tax computations including support analysis Preparation of statutory accounts from client trial balance Assist senior management & Partners Ad hoc project work

To be considered:

ACA ACCA qualification Experience managing a team Work to tight and conflicting deadlines Ability to multi-task Experience managing accounts assignments including planning, preparation, completion and delivery Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting Experience using IRIS and My Work Papers (not essential)
