YOUR NEW COMPANY:

A really flexible organisation that office mostly home working (more office working during probation) however ideally you will live in a commutable distance to go to their offices near Weston Super Mare every now and then. YOUR NEW ROLE:

As an Assistant Financial Accountant you will be reporting directly into the Finance Manager who has a wealth of experience not only within finance but within the industry. This role is more weighted around financial accounts and responsibilities will include financial reporting, preparation of the statutory accounts, VAT returns, balance sheet reconciliations, preparation of financial statements, posting and raising journals, collating the audit schedules and overseeing the process, providing financial analysis of industry related trends, point of contact for compliance, year and month end.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

AAT qualified and/or studying towards ACCA/CIMA

Experience or an understanding (which would be from studies) of financial reporting/balance sheet reconciliations

Good Excel skills (have dealt with large volumes of data and can do pivots and v looks ups as a minimum)
