About the Business

An opportunity to be a Assistant Accountant for a service business based in Worcester, who have lots of growth potential and really look after their employees. This role gives you a fantastic chance to support a team in delivering an efficient service.

Main Duties:

As a Assistant Accountant your main duties include:

* Support the production of management accounting

* Supporting in the delivery of business information for key customers and stakeholders to support decision making.

* Maintaining accurate and complete financial records

* Ensuring regulatory and statutory requirements are met.

* Supporting the development and maintenance of effective relationships with stakeholders

* Ensuring issues and shortfalls are addressed and remedied in order to ensure the delivery of high standards of customer care.

* Contributing, as appropriate, to special programmes and projects in support of the Group’s values and objectives.

Location / Office / Culture

The role is hybrid with 3 days in the office based in Worcester. The company operate from a modern office consisting of a strong team of 20+. The business is very flexible in its working patterns and offer great chances for progression.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

* Good communication skills

* Intermediate knowledge of spreadsheets

* Working knowledge of financial regulations

* The ability to analyse data

* Currently studying AAT/ACCA/CIMA

* Six months or more experience in management accounts is ideal
