Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Assembler to join our clients production team. In this role, you will work with wood and use various hand tools to assemble products according to company specifications. Ideal candidates will have experience in woodworking or a similar environment and a strong understanding of quality control and safety procedures.

Working Hours:

8am - 4pm Monday - Thrusday

8am - 3:15pm Friday

Key Responsibilities:

* Assembly: Precisely assemble components using wood, ensuring they meet quality and design specifications.

* Tool Handling: Safely operate hand tools, such as drills, saws, sanders, and screwdrivers, to shape, modify, and secure parts as needed.

* Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on assembled parts to ensure they meet company standards and address any imperfections or inaccuracies.

* Blueprint Interpretation: Follow technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to achieve precise measurements and specifications.

* Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks on tools and report any repairs or replacements required.

* Safety Compliance: Follow all health and safety guidelines and wear protective equipment to maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements:

* Experience: Previous experience in an assembly or woodworking role is preferred.

* Skills: Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for woodworking; ability to read and interpret assembly instructions or blueprints.

* Attention to Detail: Strong eye for detail to ensure accurate assembly and a high standard of finished products.

* Physical Fitness: Comfortable with physical tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.

* Team Player: Strong ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with other team members
