Have 6 months prior experience in a healthcare settingHave excellent communication skills and a basic knowledge of the sectorBe able to build a strong rapport with service users who have varying needs and abilitiesHave a genuine passion working in the healthcare sectorBe comfortable working in both care and support settings The duties of a Care Assistant include assisting with daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation and medication management, promoting independence and a sense of well-being among service users.
