Accounts Payable Specialist - London (Leicester Square / Embankment Tube)

£34,000 - £39,000 per year (depending on experience)

5 days in the office (given the nature of the role)

Are you seeking a new Accounts Payable role, and have previously worked in the Hotel or Hospitality sector within an AP role before - or keen to work newly into this sector? I'm delighted to be recruiting for one of London's finest 5 star hotels, as they seek a talented AP individual to join their very friendly, collaborative finance team. This is a superb opportunity to work in a very varied and exciting role, where you will be covering all aspects of AP and expenses for our growing hotel client.

Working alongside an experienced finance team of 11, and alongside the other AP Specialist, your duties will include:

- Working on a very busy AP ledger, with high volume of daily transactions

- Ensuring all invoices for all departments are processed on time and according to the set deadlines

- Processing all invoices and expenses, ensuring all have the correct authorisation for approval

- Processing all payment runs weekly, and handling any queries

- Reconciling all items to the Supplier Statements

- Assisting with month-end close - and preparing everything required, including reconciliing the AP Ledger to the General Ledger

- Being pro-active when needed on any accounting activity

- Working closely with the other AP team member and the wider finance team at all times

The successful Accounts Payable Clerk will offer:

- Fully eligibility to work in the UK

- Able to offer recent experience of working in the Hotel or Hospitality Sector but full training will be given)

- Be pro-active, collaborative, resilient and friendly!

- Previous experience of working on Excel (Intermediate), as well as SUN accounts (but full training given)

- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail

- Be assertive and able to work in a varied, high volume AP role
