Role: Accounts Officer

Salary: Up to GBP31,000

Located: Wakefield WF4

Hours:- Monday to Friday

This is a fabulous opportunity for an experienced Accounts Officer to join a successful and exciting Group of Companies. You will have responsibility for all aspects of daily and monthly accounting across the various companies within the group.

The role:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Sage Line 50 by:

Preparing and issuing client invoices Allocating Cash received Generating and Issuing Monthly Statements to clients Reconciling Client accounts Credit Control & Assisting clients with account queries Purchase ledger processing using spreadsheets and Sage Line 50 Accounts Reconciling Purchase Statements Compiling Purchase Payments lists ready for Bacs runs Reconciling Bank Statements Updating control spreadsheets for various tasks within the department Posting Accruals and Prepayments Balance sheet Reconciliations The successful candidate:

Proven experience as a finance officer Experience in Sage Line 50 Experience to manage multiple income streams across multiple companies Experience of intercompany movement Excellent Microsoft skills including excel & word Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Assisting in the production of accrual and prepayments Balance sheet reconciliations Sage Payroll experience desirable Glu Recruit LTD are an equal opportunities employer and are acting as a recruitment agent in the hiring of this role.
