Accounts Assistant required for our client in burton upon Trent, this site is going through extreme growth so it’s an exciting time to join them !

Duties

- Assist with accounts payable processes, including the verification and processing of invoices.

- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure data entry is completed in a timely manner.

- Support the preparation of financial reports and assist with month-end closing activities.

- Utilise accounting software to manage financial data effectively.

- Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and answer queries related to accounts.

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.

- Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.

- Support the debt collection processes.

Skills

- Proficiency in accounting software is highly desirable.

- Strong data entry skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in financial records.

- Familiarity with financial services and accounts payable processes.

- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with colleagues and external stakeholders.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

20 to 25 Hours per week- Monday to Friday- Flexible with days and hours worked

Pay £13.50ph

Temp to Perm- When Perm can be full time or stay as part time
