Sharp Consultancy are excited to be working with a well-established business based in Chesterfield that are offering an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join their finance team as an Accounts Assistant on a full time and permanent basis. This entry-level role is perfect for an AAT studier looking to kickstart their career in accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

*

Processing invoices, receipts, and payments.

*

Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with company policies.

*

Assisting with Sales Ledger, including raising invoices.

*

Chasing payments.

*

Supporting the finance team with month-end and year-end processes.

*

Handling queries from suppliers and customers.

Requirements:

*

Currently studying towards AAT qualification (Or have an interest in starting studies).

*

Strong numerical and analytical skills.

*

Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.

*

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

*

Good communication skills and a team player attitude.
