A fantastic opportunity to for an Accounts Assistant to join a well-known Barnsley based business on a full-time permanent basis.

The successful candidate will assist in the finance function of the business, assisting with maximising cash flow and general efficiency of the business.

What will you be doing?

Responsible for dealing with areas focusing on purchase ledger, sales ledger and nominal ledger.Preparing and posting cheques.Assisting with audit work and general administrative duties where required.Support the organisation in meeting business objectives through the control of assets.Support colleagues within the finance team with ad-hoc tasks.What skills are we looking for?

Qualified or currently studying AAT.Previous experience working in a similar role.Strong administrative skills.Excellent customer service skills.The ability to work to tight deadlines.What's on offer?
