Client Details Page Personnel are actively working with a long standing client, who are seeking an Accounting Technician to join their team on a permanent basis in Garforth. My client is looking for a proactive and driven individual to assist in all aspects of finance duties, including with P/L statements and reports, VAT returns, prepayments, month end closure duties and purchase and sales ledger management. Our client is a medium sized organisation, known for their commitment to training and development of their staff, and have a reputation for delivering high-quality services in East Leeds and around the UK. Description Prepare and report daily sales and orders to managers. Process accounts payable authorised invoices. Process authorised expenses and cash expenses. Process resale invoices Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations. Prepare and distribute liquidity report. Maintain fixed asset register which includes capitalisation of plant and equipment as per company policy. Complete and assist with the submission of the company VAT return. To assist with month end process by performing currency, accruals, prepayment, depreciation and other required journals.Profile A successful Accounts Assistant should have: Have gained previous experience in an Accounts Assistant/ Assistant Accountant role A driven personality, and looking to progress long term into management accounts Proficiency in relevant software (MS Excel, accounting software etc.) Strong communication skills and keen eye for detailJob Offer A competitive salary in the range of £27,000 - £29,000 per year.
