Sure Staffing is seeking reliable, experienced 7.5-ton truck drivers for Johnsons, a well-established company based in Hull known for its dedication to excellence in transportation and logistics. This position offers a unique opportunity for drivers to work with a reputable client, providing consistent and quality service in Hull and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

* Load and off-load the vehicle into designated areas.

* Ensure an adequate supply of sundry items (e.g., labels, repair kits, bags).

* Collect and deliver items, load/empty OPD lockers, and exchange dust control mats as documented.

* Accurately complete all necessary paperwork.

* Maintain positive customer relations and act as a liaison between the customer and the company.

* Adhere to BS EN ISO 9001 and 14001 Local Working Instructions, as well as the Company's Operations Manual.

* Forward queries and keep relevant managers and colleagues informed as necessary.

* Obtain signatures and maintain accurate records where required.

* Look for opportunities to expand the business and report as appropriate.

* Wear the company uniform and maintain a professional appearance.

* Drive responsibly within legal limits, maintaining the security of the vehicle and its contents at all times.

* Keep the vehicle in a clean condition and perform all vehicle checks as outlined.

* Ensure no driver infringements occur and follow driver infringement policies.

* Wear and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and handling aids as provided.

* Follow all health and safety policies in accordance with both company and customer standards.

* Attend mandatory training and contribute to fostering positive working relations with customers, colleagues, and supervisors.

* Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information.

* Ensure correct bag returns and that hamper bags are returned as required.

* Ensure the yard is kept clean, and assist with general yard maintenance as necessary.

* Perform other ad hoc duties as required.

Requirements for 7.5-ton truck driver:

* Valid UK driving license with C1 category (7.5-tonne vehicle license).

* Driver CPC qualification card and up-to-date tachograph.

* Previous experience driving a 7.5-ton vehicle and a strong safety awareness.

* Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and within a team.

* Any other duties as requested by management.

Details for 7.5-ton truck driver:

* Pay: £12.95 per hour

* Location: Hull

* Duration: Ongoing

Working Hours for 7.5-ton truck driver:

* Shifts are Monday to Friday circa 9 hours 45 mins per day from 5.30 to 6.00am and circa 8 hours 45 mins on a Friday totalling to 44 hour working week.
